Immunovax, LLC is a mobile vaccination clinic which serves the entire state of Texas and beyond. Fully licensed and well trained, we operate under the prescribing authority of our medical director Dr. Paula Springer, M.D.  Licensed pharmacists, nurses, medical assistants, and paramedics follow a strict protocol when administering vaccinations for Immunovax, LLC. Safety guidelines and protocols regarding procedures for the emergency treatment of severe medical and allergic reactions are in place. As the managing director, Dr. Mike Adams, Pharm.D. led Immunovax, LLC into the 21st century relying his in-depth knowledge of the human immune system and the vaccines that boost its response to pathogenic microorganisms. Dr. Adams obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Texas A&M University in 1986. He spent most of his time there studying the human immune system and the microorganisms that cause infectious diseases. He then spent four years at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston conducting research in the departments of Organ Transplantation and Immunology, Neurology, and Internal Medicine. His research helped lead to many new medical discoveries in these and other fields of medicine, and he was involved in several scientific research publications related to these discoveries. During this time he entered pharmacy school at the University of Houston and graduated a semester early with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy, in 1990.   Over the following 11 years, he practiced in many areas of pharmacy and medicine. This included practicing as a clinical pharmacist infectious disease specialist at Hermann hospital, many years of retail pharmacy, and some specialty pharmacy positions. In 1999, Dr. Adams became certified to give immunizations and started Immunovax, LLC. While serving as the director of Immunovax, LLC Dr. Adams was accepted into the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy and received his Doctorate in Pharmacy in 2006. In 2007, Dr. Adams obtained the prestigious Certificate in Travel Health, after passing the annual examination given by the International Society of Travel Medicine. Originally designed as a mobile vaccination clinic to reach populations in Texas void of healthcare, Immunovax, LLC has now become a fixture in every corner of the state of Texas. Administering well over 100,000 vaccinations since its inception, Immunovax, LLC has made great strides toward it's mission of saving lives via vaccinations. As of 2007, Immunovax, LLC is now saving lives nationwide.
